Once the anesthetic has lost its effect, you may eat again, but no hard foods as the cement needs 24 hours to harden completely.
Long-term temporaries placed on immediate implants must not be loaded for at least 6 weeks, i.e. during this time you may only eat soft food.
As a rule, no follow-up examination is required. Exceptions are newly occurring swellings or severe postoperative bleeding.
Of course, this possibility exists and we can send you samples of all the materials we use. However, we only use materials that a normally functioning immune system can tolerate without problems (zirconium oxide ceramics, glass ionomer cement, Admira resin, etc.). Prior to remediation, the immune system is still compromised and may not accept even these materials. However, we have never experienced in 14 years that these materials AFTER the renovation would not have been tolerated.

After surgery, swelling of the cheek, restriction of mouth opening, and difficulty swallowing may occur. These usually subside after 3 to 4 days. After one week, wound healing is largely complete. Temperature increases up to 38.5°C are possible and normal after the procedure.
